I've been working on this Coast Guard Rescue painting and vehicle design. Inspired by David Hobbins and his many amazing designs!
The sheet shows a bit of the profile shape-exploration I did for the vehicle. I tried to always keep the cockpit down low for better viewing of the water surface below. Also, I wanted to keep the engines high away from the water surface for less disturbance and a safe clearance for rear egress from the cabin.
